Copyright & Training Data
Last updated: 2026-06-17
This statement explains how copyright works on Melunox, our commitment about training data, and how to report infringement.
We never use your work to train AI models
Your lyrics, recordings, prompts, and generated songs are yours. We do not use them to train, fine-tune, or improve any machine-learning model, and we never sell them.
1. Your inputs
You must own or have the necessary rights to everything you upload or submit. Do not upload lyrics, recordings, samples, images, or other material you are not authorized to use. You are responsible for clearing any third-party rights.
2. Your outputs
To the extent we hold any rights in the works the Service generates for you, we assign them to you on generation, subject to our Terms. Copyright in AI-assisted works varies by country and may be limited; we make no guarantee that output is protectable or free of third-party claims.
3. Respecting others’ rights
Do not use the Service to infringe others’ copyrights, trademarks, or other rights, or to reproduce existing songs, performances, or an identifiable artist’s voice without authorization.
4. Reporting infringement (notice and takedown)
If you believe content on Melunox infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] including: identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location (URL) of the allegedly infringing material; your contact details; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act; and your signature.
We will act on valid notices, including by removing or disabling access to the material.
5. Counter-notice and repeat infringers
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] with the required information; we may restore the content as permitted by law.
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
